Moving

Thu May 6, 2010, 6:25 PM
Ugggghhh! I had to forfeit from possibly the coolest contest since AmarinthineTeaKettle. D:

~uvnote and I moved house a few days ago, and have been packing for the last 2-3 weeks. This really disrupted our plans for PMOCT, and resulted in me not having a clear entry to upload and hers being incomplete.
I feel crap about this. I totally wanted to expand on Lyle's story. I seem to be cursed with never moving past round 1 in tourneys. ^^;

Anyway. Just an update to say I'll be back next week when the internet returns. And instead of joining another OCT i think I might focus on completing a comic story of my own before I move to Canada.

... or do you think I should continue to hone my ideas in tourneys..?

I dont know. I'm sort of at an impasse here on DA. I dont want to keep uploading random arts every week. But I dont know where to start.

  • Mood: Irritated
  • Reading: PMOCT entires :D
  • Watching: Doctor Who Season 5
  • Playing: Final Fantasy XIII
  • Drinking: Coke

You are moving across the world?

I hope you can adapt to the northern hemisphere. I hear it is the coldest hemisphere there is. I also hear that French Canada is the best Canada in the land.

But less cobras and scorpions, that is a plus I suppose.

Good luck, and beware the mooses!
Or mosii. Or is it mose? Mise?

From Aussie land to The Great White North... Hot to Cold. Its going to be tough!

Adapting isnt too hard... its getting all my books and stuff over so I can adapt easier that will be the hard part! :fear:

I heard Raccoons are the beasts to watch out for. They steal food and spread disease!

I guess it is a bit easier to adapt when you speak the same language.
USA, Australia, Great Britain, Canada and...I forget a country, I am sure.

Could you perhaps explain something to me? I have heard that Australia is a country and a separate continent. Is that true? I mean, I know where it is and all, but does it count as a continent like America and Eurasia?

That's a shame, your work for that so far looked really intriguing, Lyle's a great character.

Maybe it's better to take a break from oct's, cause whenever you do miss a deadline no one really continues any work they started? Just a thought.

Well, thats true. I just dont have the heart to continue Lyle after that. Hmph. It seems to happen to alot of people, and now I understand why. :S

It's nice to start something I know I dont have a deadline for, but at the same time actually REALLY WANT to get done. If that makes sense? ^^;

Yay!

For Lexi, she has an update schedule for her comics to keep her on track. I dunno what will work for you, what are you planning on doing?
